On August 4, representatives of CPG had the pleasure of meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand for an in-depth exchange.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was represented by Ms. Rujikorn Saengchantr, Director-General of the Department of International Economic Affairs, together with Mr. Narong Silpathamtada, Counsellor, and Ms. Pasika Phornprasert, Counsellor. The Department of European Affairs was represented by Mr. Theeraphat Trangkathumkul, Counsellor, and a colleague from the Department.
The CPG delegation was led by Director Henning Glaser and also included CPG Program Manager Lucas Meier in his capacity as Head of CPG’s Governance & Compliance Hub (CGCH), and Venus Phuangkom, Head of Executive Education & Event Management.
During the almost two-hour meeting, the participants exchanged views on Thailand’s OECD accession process, the regulatory requirements associated with it, and the relevance of selected European Union regulatory frameworks for Thailand and Thai-European economic relations.
We sincerely thank all participants for the substantive and engaging exchange.
