1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the website cpg-online.de (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, which include the Privacy Policy and course-specific terms. If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from accessing or using the Site. These Terms constitute a legal contract between you (“you,” “your,” or the “User”) and the German-Southeast Asian Center of Excellence for Public Policy and Good Governance (CPG) (“we,” “us,” or “our”), located at Thammasat University, Faculty of Law, 2 Phrachan Road, Bangkok 10200, Thailand.
2. Use of Site and Services
The Site is provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may use the Site only for lawful purposes and agree not to misuse it in a manner that could impair its functionality, damage the Site, or restrict the access and use by others.
You agree to use the Site in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and you are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Site does not infringe on the rights of third parties. If you register for any courses or services offered through the Site, you are also bound by course-specific terms.
3. Course Registration and Payment
By registering for a course through the Site, you confirm your binding registration for that course. You are required to provide accurate and complete personal, billing, and payment information for processing your registration. Course-specific terms, including fees, cancellation policies, and payment terms, will apply to your course registration.
Course Fees: Fees for courses are detailed on the course registration page and must be paid in full prior to course participation unless otherwise agreed upon.
Cancellation and Refunds: Cancellations must be made in writing and may be subject to cancellation fees as outlined in the course-specific terms. You acknowledge that certain courses may have non-refundable deposits or specific refund policies based on the timing of the cancellation.
Course Modifications: CPG reserves the right to modify course content, schedules, and fees at any time. In case of course cancellation or significant modification, CPG will inform registered participants and offer a full refund if applicable.
4. Intellectual Property
All content, materials, and intellectual property on the Site, including but not limited to course materials, texts, images, videos, and logos, are owned by CPG or its licensors and are protected under international copyright and intellectual property laws.
You may access, view, and print copies of the content for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, display, or create derivative works from any part of the Site, including course materials, without express written permission from CPG.
5. User Responsibilities
By using the Site, you agree to:
Accurate Registration: Provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep it updated.
Password Confidentiality: Do not share or transfer your password, username, or account with others.
Prohibited Activities: You may not use the Site to:
Engage in unlawful activities
Post or transmit any defamatory, obscene, or offensive content
Violate the intellectual property rights of others
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its services
Use the Site for commercial purposes without permission
You agree to respect all other users’ rights and to refrain from engaging in activities that might disrupt, damage, or impair the Site.
6. User Submissions
Certain areas of the Site allow you to post comments, content, or user-generated materials (collectively referred to as “User Content”). You remain fully responsible for the User Content you submit, and by submitting it, you grant CPG a royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, modify, and distribute the content in connection with the Site.
You agree not to submit content that:
Infringes any third-party rights (e.g., copyright, trademark)
Is false, misleading, defamatory, or abusive
Violates any laws or regulations
Is discriminatory, offensive, or incites violence
CPG reserves the right to remove or edit any User Content at its sole discretion and without prior notice.
7. Termination of Access
CPG reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Site at its discretion if you violate these Terms of Use or if we suspect that you have engaged in any unlawful activities, including but not limited to fraudulent registrations or the unauthorized distribution of content.
If your account is terminated, you will no longer have access to the Site, and you must immediately cease all use of the Site’s materials and services.
8. Liability Limitation
The Site, including all content, materials, and services, is provided “as is” without any warranties, express or implied. CPG does not guarantee the availability, accuracy, or completeness of the Site or the content provided. We are not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages that may arise from the use or inability to use the Site, including any damages to your computer or loss of data.
In no event shall CPG’s liability exceed USD 100 for any damages resulting from the use of the Site.
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any disputes arising from the use of the Site, including course registrations, will be resolved by the courts in Thailand, and you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of these courts.
Any claim must be brought within one (1) year after the cause of action arises, or it will be permanently barred.

11. Changes to Terms of Use and Privacy Policy
CPG reserves the right to update or change these Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy, and/or the Site at any time in its sole discretion. You are responsible for checking these Terms periodically for any changes. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted will signify your acceptance of the new Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and any changes made to the Site.
