On 26 August 2025, CPG and the Faculty of Law, Universitas Islam Sultan Agung (UNISSULA), Indonesia, celebrated the signing of a new Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) by co-hosting a seminar on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) and compliance in Southeast Asia. The MoA builds on a long-standing partnership between the two institutions.
The seminar was attended by a large delegation from UNISSULA, including master’s and doctoral students, lecturers, and staff, led by Professor Dr. Jawade Hafidz, Dean of the Faculty of Law, and joined by Dr. Setyo Trisnadi, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine. With around 130 participants, the event featured lectures by Dr. Rizki Adi Pinandito on Human Trafficking in International Law Perspectives and by CPG Director Henning Glaser, and concluded with the formal MoA signing ceremony.
The event was supported by Thammasat University’s Faculty of Law, to which CPG’s main office is attached. Special thanks go to Assistant Professor Dr. Lasse Schuldt, Assistant Dean for International Programs at the Faculty of Law, as well as Lucas Meier and Venus Phuangkom, who concluded the program with a campus tour.
