CPG Director Henning Glaser is currently teaching the seminar “Compliance & Integrity” as well as the course “Fundamentals of Civil Law” in the summer semester at the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder).
This teaching engagement forms part of the longstanding cooperation between CPG and the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder), which spans more than a decade of academic exchange, teaching, research collaboration, and joint initiatives in law, governance, and compliance. On the side of the Viadrina University, the cooperation is in particular led by Professor Bartosz Makowicz, Chair in Polish and German Public Law, European and Economic Law, and Compliance Management, and founder and Director of the Viadrina Compliance Center.
The compliance seminar especially reflects a field of expertise that has long been central to CPG’s work. For many years, CPG has contributed to research, education, capacity-building, and policy dialogue in the areas of governance, rule of law, public integrity, anti-corruption, and institutional development. A new volume in CPG’s Series on Comparative Constitutional Law, Politics and Governance, titled Making Compliance Work: Challenges and Innovations, is scheduled for publication this autumn.
