CPG was very pleased to be represented by its Program Manager, Lucas Meier, at today’s inaugural meeting of the newly established Sustainable Business Working Group of the EABC -The European Chamber of Commerce Thailand (EABC), with which CPG cooperates under an existing MoU in the field of responsible and sustainable business conduct.

At a time when sustainability has become a central business and policy issue, including in the context of Thailand’s FTA negotiations with the EU and its OECD accession process, the creation of a dedicated forum on sustainability within a highly engaged business chamber with a strong record in advocacy is a particularly welcome development — for EABC’s member companies and for Thailand more broadly.

We also very warmly congratulate Patrice Pischedda on his election as the first Chair of the Working Group and wish him every success in guiding its work and developing its agenda.
