Scholarship OpportunitiesÂ
The “Institute for Peace and Dialogue” (IPD) has announced the next International Winter Programs, which are to be held in Switzerland. Applicants can choose between the 8-day Winter Academy and the 3-Month Research Program, which may be combined with the 8-day Training participation, depending on the application. IPD offers support for most needed potential participants in the form of reduced participation fees. Besides this, there is a 10% Discount opportunity if you are joining and paying together as a group of participants. The “ETH Zurich Postdoctoral Fellowship Program” supports incoming fellowships for postdoctoral researchers at the ETH Zurich. The program is intended to foster high-potential, young researchers who have already demonstrated excellence in terms of internationally competitive achievements in the early stages of their professional careers. Applications have to be made jointly by the candidate and their host who must be an ETH Zurich Professor and who will act as a mentor of the fellow. The DAAD Development-Related Postgraduate Courses offers foreign graduates from development and newly industrialized countries from all disciplines and with at least two years’ professional experience the chance to take a postgraduate or Master’s degree at a state or state-recognized German university, and in exceptional cases to take a doctoral degree, and to obtain a university qualification (Master’s/PhD) in Germany. Rotary Peace Fellowship allows up to 100 individuals from around the world to receive fully funded academic fellowships to pursue a Professional Development Certificate Program or Master’s Degree Program related to peace and conflict resolution and prevention at one of the participating peace centers around the world (USA, Japan, UK, Australia, Sweden, and Thailand). The Kennisontwikkelings programma Netherlands Fellowship Programmes (OKP NFP) provides fellowships for highly motivated professionals who are interested at participating in a Dutch University. The professionals must be in a position to introduce the newly acquired skills and knowledge into their employing organisation. The ASEAN Master Scholarship is aimed at supporting students from ASEAN countries (Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam) who intend to study at the University of Nottingham. You will be eligible to apply if you are classed as an overseas student for fee purposes and hold an offer to start a full-time master’s degree program (excluding MRes) at Nottingham in any subject area.
