We recently met with Benjamin Brink, Regional Director South-East Asia at Deutsche Investitions- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft (DEG), part of Germany’s state-owned development bank group KfW, which supports private sector investments in developing and emerging economies.
As always, it was an enriching exchange on current (geo)economic developments in South and Southeast Asia, including the rapid growth of artificial intelligence and related fields such as cloud computing and data storage. With countries in the region competing to establish themselves as hubs and to secure foreign direct investment, the sector is attracting substantial attention and capital.
We also greatly appreciated Mr. Brink’s valuable perspectives on our Executive Education program.
