Many thanks to our speaker, Dr. Patcharaviral Charoenpacharaporn from the History Department at Chulalongkorn University, and her discussant, H.E. Tomwit Jarnson, CPG Senior Research Fellow and former Thai Ambassador to Pakistan, for their insights during the very interesting CPG special lecture titled “Navigating Geopolitical Divisions: A Glimpse from History – Thai-Indian Relations in the Early Cold War Period,” held last Friday, March 15th, 2024.

We also extend our gratitude to CPG’s friends and fellows who participated in the event, including H.E. Kasit Piromya, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, and Pol. Lt. Gen. Suthin Khiewratana, former Commander of the Thai Border Patrol Police. We thank distinguished participants from Embassies and other institutions who joined this insightful discussion.
