CPG’s Constitutional Law and – Politics/ Human Rights Hub (CCHH), in collaboration with the Asian Governance Foundation (AGF), is scheduling an upcoming online panel discussion titled “Myanmar 2026 Outlook: Post-Election Dynamics and Five Years Since the Coup”, scheduled on January 30, 2026, via Zoom conferencing.

This online panel discussion seeks to provide a thorough analysis of Myanmar’s political and security landscape in the wake of the military-organized elections and as we approach the fifth anniversary of the 2021 coup. By integrating expert political and security insights, the discussion will evaluate the military’s capacity to assert authority across the nation and consider potential trajectories for Myanmar as it progresses into 2026. This session aims to illuminate the complexities of the current crisis and foster an informed dialogue on the nation’s future.
