Overview
CPG offers a variety of research and business operations opportunities for professionals whose backgrounds can range from a bachelor’s degree with limited work experience to a doctoral degree with related research experience.
From time to time, CPG offers contract-based honorarium positions to support ongoing or specific research initiatives, assist in organizing, planning, or executing conferences and other events, and help with various administrative tasks and functions within the organization.
We also offer tertiary students and recent graduates from a diverse range of backgrounds the opportunity to take part in a dynamic internship program that provides hands-on experience.
Additionally, CPG invites German law student graduates currently undergoing practical training (Rechtsreferendariat) to apply for a meaningful legal clerkship. Upon request, an extensive vocational training schedule (Ausbildungsplan) is available and can be used to allow your home university or Justizprüfungsamt to assess its suitability.

Internships
We offer a variety of internships for tertiary students and recent graduates from diverse backgrounds to develop their research skills. We also welcome candidates interested in a career change to the intersecting fields of law and politics.
Interested applicants will be placed in our unpaid program, and tasks will be assigned based on our evolving situation.
This internship generally last at least three months. Applicants must be available to intern at CPG for 40 hours per week.
Legal Clerkships
CPG invites anyone with an interest in European and Constitutional Law to apply for a meaningful legal clerkship. A clerkship at CPG provides a challenging yet extremely rewarding work experience where you will develop skills essential for your legal practice.
As a clerk, your work may include, but is not limited to:
- Participating in stakeholder meetings;
- Conducting legal and political research;
- Planning academic events;
- Providing project support;
- Developing coursework for Thai students studying German law; and
- Engaging in public outreach.
