On November 13, 2024, we had the pleasure of hosting a delegation from Jama’atul Ikhwan, an education foundation in Solo, Indonesia, dedicated to providing community education rooted in moderate Islamic teachings. The visit focused on a productive exchange about integrating human rights and good governance into educational practices. The delegation was led by the foundation’s chairman, H. Muklis Mustofa, S.Pd., M.Pd., and Professor Dr. Sunny Ummul Firdaus, S.II., M.II., an executive board member. Professor Sunny, who teaches at the Faculty of Law at Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta, is a long-time friend of CPG and participated in our 2012 Spring School on German and European Law in Germany.

We extend our gratitude for their visit and look forward to continuing our discussions with Jama’atul Ikhwan.
